Our suggested route between Warrington and Liverpool leaves Warrington along the Manchester Ship Canal where the path is direct and easy to follow, then crosses the River Mersey at Runcorn to Widnes. It then follows the river for a while before heading through Hale Bank and running alongside the A562 towards Allerton, then follows suburban roads to Aigburth and the A561 all the way to the Baltic Triangle and the Liverpool Docks, where there are a variety of taprooms.
This route is approximately 35.5km with a total climb of 107m.
Please remember these are just our suggestions; your tastes in venues may very well be different. We're not affiliated with any of these, and don't even know when they are open, so make sure to check when planning your run!
